The term "2K" refers to the two main parts that are mixed just before use: a base paint and a separate hardener (or activator). The thinner, sometimes called a "reducer," is the third component added to this mix.

This is critical for achieving a smooth, uniform, and high-quality finish without defects such as "orange peel," runs, or sags. This 2K paint thinner can also be used to thin polyurethane paints.
