Paint thinners are solvents used to reduce the viscosity, or thickness, of oil-based paints, varnishes, and stains. For example, water is used to thin water-based paint, a solvent-based thinner is therefore required for oil-based paint, as oil and water do not mix. It reduces the viscosity of the paint thus allowing for a better finish.
T602 Lacquer Thinner is a more powerful solvent compared to the usual paint thinner, typically used for thinning lacquers and other synthetic finishes. It can often times damage plastic and rubber. It is suitable to be used in the furniture and woodworking industries due to its super slow drying nature.
